Polarisation

Polarisation

Partisan differences America is divided by about 50% - 50% between two major political views.

Conservative vs Liberal differences of opinion.

Differences in political opinions are used as an out-picturing of our fear, as well as the primal human tendency toward aggression.

It is possible to train the mind to obey the soul.
I am not my mind, I am not my body, my mind and body are tools to be used by my soul.

The word soul, in this instance, is used in reference to one's highest and best thoughts.  What we think in retrospect after brain chemistry stabilizes and all of the facts are in.

Once societies have become deeply polarized, what can they do to start healing their divisions?
Who wins the 2020 Presidential election does not concern me as much as the mental health and well being of the American public.

Social media has been a platform used as an outlet for anger. "We are the saviors, the 'other' side is the demon.

These extremes have become the political messages of America and globally.

Politicians, like all people, tell tales designed to slant others' opinions over to their way of thinking.
So many salespeople.

I choose to reserve my emotions. I back off from passionate judgment.
It is more important to live a life of peace than it is to see my chosen party to win an election.
My political views aren't even a close second to my desire to walk a path of respect.
