My Inside Self

We live in a mental universe.

My thoughts are creative.

I create my experience with my thoughts, words, and deeds.

I want to show compassion to others and to myself.

I practice how I will respond in the world with the energy I give to my mistakes or shortcomings.

Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.  

Step 6 of the 12 steps We were entirely ready to have God remove all our defects of character.
One way to explore character defects is to consider the 7 deadly sins.

Examine your behavior and your thinking. 

Step 7 of the 12 steps.
